Championship-level Golf at Walnut Cove

The home facility of the UNC Asheville Women's Golf Team, this Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course features elevations of 2,100 to 2,250 feet and, thanks to the southern exposure of the course, welcomes golfers year-round. The par-71 course is surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest, making it easy to mistake your golf game for a sightseeing trip. Golfers appreciate the playability of the bentgrass fairways, rolling slopes, and challenging greens, taking them through mountain meadows and around creeks and streams. 

The course is designed to provide different ages, genders, and skill levels a peak golfing experience, and includes four sets of women's tees, including a nine-hole set for beginners, and five sets of men's tees.
